Upper dashes allow better fitment if you have something like a BRP rubber mounted Scott's submount.

The exception would be for the BRP rubber mounted Scott's submount on 250-570cc Ktm/HuskyHusaberg Key switch versions will still interfere with the front rubber mounts, all other upper dash configurations will work.
